SAE Piercing Construction modifier

Hi, I'm new here.
Just a question for clarification: Do the Piercing & Non-Piercing Modifiers in SAE Rules Annex supersede those from the Core Rulebook?

I *think* they do (been a while since I read through AE). Piercing (1) replaces the Piercing trait from the Core Rulebook, while Non-Piercing (1) replaces Non-Piercing.

Thanks, that seemed to make sense but I wasn't sure. The Rules Annex doesn't specifically mention any such correction.

Yes. The Piercing/Non-Piercing [X] traits supersede the Piercing/Non-Piercing traits.
