B5 Conversion Nova Edition

Oops, now in the right location:

So I finally got my hands on the new Nova Edition.

Its finally done. The core EA ships are done. I attached them to my new post.

The fire arcs on the Avengers are a bit cut.
I can see that missiles are 'slw'. I don't understand why, as they have fairly good ROF.
Unless mistaken, raking weapons like laser are Rpt?

The slw on the missile launchers is perhaps a remnant from my time with B5 ACTA. Also, I needed something to make the LR Racks of the upcoming o-sats something special. To tell the truth, I quite not in the BAS thing presently. For me, it feels a bit like the old rof, but only contribution dice.

Unless mistaken, raking weapons like laser are Rpt?
Yes, presently they are. I'm still looking for something to make them more like a beam. Also, I quite not sure how to make a particle cannon significantly different to a medium laser :( .

I know. Even there, I didn't know why.

:idea: Give either the Particle beam the weapon trait "Guided" which will remove any range modifiers and keep it the same to its mak range. This way it will be like a beam that is narrow and consistantant at Short thru Long range. Giving it Piercing and Dx2 or Dx3 will make it more formitable. Most of my ships have "Mass Drivers" as the heavy weapon. these have Piercing & Dx3.

Hey, thanks for this ideas. Based on them, I converted most ships from the first ship compendium.

Had a quick look, looks sound. Couple of points:

1) Guessing you're converting from B5Wars. Consider giving the Lasers and such on ones like the Hyperion, Nova, and Omega either a FR arc, or maybe even insert A and B firing arcs into OnG's Spreadsheet.
2) Any way you'd post the weapon BAS you used?

Just curious how your conversions are going? I was considering doing some conversions myself until I saw your post, thought it would save me some time if they're already done.
