So, I jumped off the cliff and bought quite a few Starmada books. I am smitten with Stamada: Fleet Ops, and I want to convert some Starmada ships to Starmada: Fleet Ops "scale". All went well until I got to the weapons part, which has so far stumped me.
Could someone please walk me through the process? By way of example, I am trying to convert this Starmada weapon:
Phaser1, Rng 15, Rof 1, Acc 4+, Imp 1, Dmg 1, Rangebased ROF, [ACE] [BDF] [GHI]
Into it's Starmada: Fleet Ops version
I reckon if someone can walk me through one, I can maybe do the rest on my own? Any help would be appreciated!

1*1.25*1.6*1.5 = 0.75. 0.75*(0.89*4) = 2.67 ~ 3. Half of this is 1.5 ~ 2. Remember that H & I each count as half a point in the Forward arc.
0.75 * (0.89*4) = 2.67 ~ 3. Half of this is 1.5 ~ 2. Rember that H & I each count as half a point in the Port and Starboard arc.
0.75 * (0.89*2) = 1.78 ~ 2. Half of this is 1.
Divide the Range of 15 by 4. This gives 3.75 which rounds up to 4. Double 3.75 is 7.5 which rounds up to 8. Remember to add the Trait: Short Range.
This gives as a result:
3/2 [3/2] 2/1 (48), Short Range.
I hope that this is of some help. The only error that I think that you are making is in the rounding off. Amounts that are equal or greater than some integer plus a half should be rounded up. As an example, 1.5 ~ 2. Amounts that are less than an integer plus a half should be rounded down. As an example, 1.4 ~ 1.
