Drake Notation for S:FO

Has anyone put any thought into attempting to come up with a Drake notation, similar to that used for S:AE, for S:FO? Personally I would like to see something like that as it would mean I don't have to keep on eating people's bandwidths with my conversions...:)

I just set up another section on the text sheet that grabs the appropriate stats and gives me the following right below the Drake Notation for the S:AE stats:

Starmada: Fleet Ops Stats VPs(36)
HULL: 6 5 4 3 2 1 THRUST: 2/1 DEFENSE: 4+
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Hyperdrive ; Marines (2) ; Point Defence ;
Battery V: 9/4 [7/3] 5/3 (2-3) Repeating
Battery W:
Battery X:
Battery Y:
Battery Z:
Anti-Fighter Batteries: 4/2 [4/2] 4/2 (1) Anti-Fighter

I just copy and pate the block into each new version of the shipyard (as long as the keeper of the shipyard doesn't move anything around it works :lol: ). I'm in the middle of a big project that I will post up with both sets of stats at the same time. Since there is not a 100% perfect conversion for some things without tweaks (as you are finding) I will have to make some little adjustments, but it gets me in the ballpark. For things I "fix" in the SFO builder I will just edit in word. It shouldn't take too long just to stick a text sheet into the SFO builder then copy into a text editor, after all the builders output is essentially text.

Yes.
Added to Text sheet but this only part of the additions. I have been "sitting" on version 61 awaiting comment from Dan.
I wished to add choice of showing type of Defense (for SFU ships) with Hellbore only getting the -1 Defense bonus if the target has Screens or Faceted defense. Accurate for Space Station trait. One-Shot where a battery has less than 25 ammo*.
Hellbore weapon shown as such in the battery traits instead of piercing ATM, needed if batteries are shown as V, W... instead of the weapon name. ESG only working against a weapon battery if Hellbore in the traits. Choice of where "Bow" is shown, it can be put in the Traits so a battery can be:
Rabbit Gun 4/2 - - (6/3) Bow; Piercing
*Where a battery has twice as many shots as weapons and still under 25 shots, try splitting it into two batteries with half the shots, less attack dice that way but at least can fire at more than one target. (came to me when looking at B&K attack boats, one of which has four weapons and 12 ammo).

BTW Nice conversions, now, where are the counters?

Good at converting designs, rubbish at anything 'arty'--that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it...:)

Ah but what good is the fluff if you cannot make felt out of it? :)

VFv61 is posted, Hellbore still shows as piercing, which is fine for the SFU setting.

I'm using this, albeit with a couple of tweaks. One: I'm breaking up the text so that hull gets its own line, and two: I'm adding '//' between the half-way point to easily identify the 'crippled' point, like so:

Just copy-paste the relevent hull line into the Drake notation, and you're away. And the reason for this is: I'm writing up the converted Fanning the Flames SFO conversion, so even more SFO ships for the Playing with Fire setting...:)

I missed that!
Changed the notation in the shipyard, which now has the hull on it's own line (thanks for the idea).
It is split and bracketed [654] [321] but I have left the lines visible (scroll down text sheet) if anyone wishes to change it to "/ /" .
