Is this another Starmada setting book, or is it also a campaign system? And is this not going to be pdfable since it is connected to the Trek company? And it's, you know, the 21st.

(Reason for asking is I'm starting up a Starmada:VBAM game, and I'm advertising it as Star Trek skinnable. If this game is itself already a Star Trek campaign system, then score.)

It is a Starmada setting book -- it is not a campaign system (although a mini-campaign is included).

We are discussing the PDF thing -- I'd put the odds of a download being made available at 60-70%, just not immediately.

I am awaiting the final word from ADB that the book is officially released.

Is there still the possibility that MJ12 will be a retailer for this? Another question...Since the Starmada game mechanics don't belong to ADB, is there are possibility of an appendix to the Annex to cover any new rules that might be part of KA made available if there is no download-able release of KA (without references that are licensed to ADB)? I'm first and foremost a "game system" junkie so it follows that I am more excited about new game mechanics/rules/options than the setting component. Thanks.

Yes.

The game options included in Klingon Armada explicitly remain the property of MJ12, and will in all likelihood find their way into other products.

Note from Steve Cole over on the Star Fleet Games forum: "First ones should come off the press by noon, being shipped to wholesalers by 4pm."

I don't want to sound pushy, or like I am taking advantage of the kindness of a stranger, but if you don't mind, TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT!!11! Dood, I may get this quote as a tattoo:

"I might play that if it was Star Trek though" -- Teh Wife (who kicks my ass at Wooden Ships and Iron Men)

From the ADB web site:

sales@starfleetgames.com

However, if at all possible, I'd encourage y'all to buy from your FLGS -- after all, ADB is also distributing the Starmada Core Rulebook, and it'd be great to show Alliance that our products can sell.

I am an American and i demand Instant Satisfaction!

And I did what Dan posted (lol).

Hey Dan, I think I'll try to run one of my sessions at Millennium Con Using the Klingon Armada Rules.

I picked up 8 of the "Studio Bergstrom" Not-Klingon Birds-of-Prey to use as Massed E4 Escort squadrons to buff out all my SFB Minis.
