ARES: Grimoire

Postby Blackronin » Sat Jan 24, 2009 10:47 pm

Is it ARES: Grimoire a official supplement?
And if it is someone able to update the Ares Troop Generator with the new abilities and spells?

Thanks in advance.

Nothing in the Grimoire is official.
It's just a few new abilities and effects I was playing around with once upon a time.
Some might be incorporated as official, but most probably won't.
Until that time, though, they should probably be kept out of the troop generator.

That's a pitym because, without it, undead will stay... uhm... dead.

Yeah, that's kind of the way it is around here.
If something's not called Starmada or Iron Stars it just kind of languishes in obscurity.

And were you able to incorporate the unofficial Grimoire rules into an unofficial troop generator and send it to me, uhn? Uhn? (with a John Cleese accent).

Currently I don't believe we have a generator that has any of the unofficial ablilities included.
If I can get to it I'll try to modify one of the existing ones to include them.

Thanks, Kevin.
I'll sit at your doorstep and I'll wait...
