Hartington Blue Stilton

Postby Gangrel » Fri Jan 21, 2011 1:24 pm

Nobody probably cares, but this is a subject close to my heart, so here goes.

Blue Stilton - the king of cheeses and the finest thing to eat with a glass of brandy or a pint of Old Peculier. A few years back, the parent company closed down the Hartington creamery where the best stilton was made. Sure, you could still get Long Clawson cheese or whatever, but it just wasn't in the same league. And now, wonder of wonders, someone is making blue stilton in the Hartington style.

And it is good! :D

Your lot curdle some milk and call it brie? Real cheese has flavour, mate. Get your laughing gear around some of this http://www.stiltoncheese.com/ and wash it down with a pint of this http://www.theakstons.co.uk/ales/classi ... ulier.html

;)
