Potatoes to top with Parmesan

5-8 thinly sliced baby red 'taters
1 bag of real bacon bits
1/4 cup minced garlic
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp course ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped chives
approximately 1 tablespoon each of rosemary & thyme

melt 1 tablespoon of butter in frying pan then add half of the minced garlic
add half of the taters
then add half of your chives, pepper, rosemary, and thyme
add half of the remaining butter in pats
now add the rest of your taters, topping with the remaining butter, spices, and bacon bits.

Keep on medium low heat and cover. Let simmer/fry stirring every 10-15 minutes until done. Takes about 30-45 minutes to cook up all the way through. If it burns too much, add about 1/8 cup of water.

place on serving plate and top with parmesan cheese. Feeds 4.
