Theoretically, I should be able to make it accessible... but it might take a little time.

Great! I did wonder.

If it's human-readable, I might be able to crawl through it and make it more "forum friendly".

Cool - I'll also volunteer to read through it....
I'm not much for writing up individual episodes, but I can help with plot lines and keeping things consistent.

You might look through the stuff that I posted last night, it's just a data dump of all the stuff I saved off. I've got OTHER stuff, but they likely don't apply if Dan (or any/everyone else) would rather it be a Starmada setting instead of a stand-alone game. Dan had 2-4 different game engines to use for this, and I doubt he'd want them circulated outside the group that initially recieved them.

I'll try to remember to send the updated plot outlines from work (if they're there) and add in my hand-written notes in the next few weeks.

.....it's not as if this hasn't been laying dormant for a few years and a week or two of inactivity would kill it
:D

Already have been reading through it...
I do like the ideas, especially the squids....LOL.
Although I do see them more as puppets, and I came up with some interesting plot ideas off what you had...
I'll polish them up from sentence fragments to whole ideas and shoot them back at you.

Dang, this has got to be one of the longest running threads on the board...

FYI, I scribbled down some more "episode synopsis('s?)" - will post them momentarily.

Well, I've done some investigation, and discovered that what I archived was merely the front-end of the wiki -- all the "guts" are stored in the database on the mj12games.com server.

While that's good news in one respect, as it means the content is there (somewhere), the bad news is I have yet to figure out how to reinstall the wiki without emptying the database. :(

Oh geez...I was afraid of something like this.

If you can download the data in ANY form - other than machine code - I MIGHT be able to do something with it.

Coolness....

Me, Jim, and Nahuris - sounds like a working group to me. If you guys have anything post it here, or to me.

I'll continue to post "episode synopsis's" until told to cease, or no one cars again....

what I'm saying is, if you give me a dump of the database, I can get the info out of it...I wasn't volunteering for anything.
