In all likelihood, yes, as one of the reasons I'm interested in this project is to have a fleet-level version of Starmada.

I like the new display, I assume the numbers in a sort of grid to the right of the cannon dice are how many dice you can roll for weapon 1 amd weapon 2 - primary and secondary?

Do all ships have Point Defense, as you implied earlier, or is that shown some other way?

Is the missile range on top, with the damage multipleir below?

Missile 'to-hit' is all D6 vs Point Defenses?

For "W1" and "W2", the number in the greyed box is the total number of weapon dice; the number below is the range. The numbers in the four boxes to the right of that are the maximum number of dice that can be used against a target in the forward, port, starboard, and aft arcs respectively.

For "M", the number in the greyed box is the range, the number below is the damage. The boxes to the right are the "ammo".

Dunno yet. The point defense thing, while cool, is going to be a bitch to point cost...

I'm not sure which one I like the look better.

I like the idea of point defenses and I'm sure you can get the point cost all figured out!

About the 'ship graphic' thing....

Was it your intent to have the various graphics color-coded as to 'nation'? I think that it'd be a good idea...

And a Battleship...

The Nelson, for your perusal.

I now have a spreadsheet, so if there's anyone who wants to try their hand at designing some ships, contact me off-list.

Looks good.
Except explain to me again why you can't put the thrust, attack, and defense values inside the boxes on the damage track?

I'm gunna need some guidance here...as usual.

I can change from b to c to d, but it won't let me change the size value...
or the 'title'...some cells are protected and I'm loath the change the thing.

Anyone made any ships with Dan's spreadsheet? I've been too busy doodling with the Omegapedia, keeping things at the house running, tending to car maintenance, and Christmas shopping to do anything more with it.

..not to mention I've got at least three games to create graphics for....
:-)
