About material, there is the babylon 5 vault:http://b5warsvault.wikidot.com. But I suppose you know it.

What is the first line above the hull, with the diamond?

Also, I suppose that the warp drive is the hyperdrive.
And what are the rules for science, and security?

I have not changed any rules, just a name here and there.

The Diamond is the screen row. This can represent a deflector or armor. Effectively it is extra hit boxes.
Hyperdrive = Warp Drive.
Science is for scenario or campaign play.
Marines = Security.
Ionized hull = Enhanced Hull
And some others I will mention as they come up. But it is all core rules.

For the diamond, I found the rules today.
But I wonder why both the screens (deflector) and the shield? Is the later metallic armour?

Thanks for the answers of the other questions.

Star Trek shields work in two ways. If possible they will completely deflect or even absorb an attack hence the "shield" in game rules.
Not all attacks can be deflected or absorbed without a cost though. Kind of like a second layer of protection that will "take the hit" before damage gets to the hull. This would be "screens" in game rules. Screen somewhat represent a combination of armor and protective shields but more so on the shield side. Typically in Star Trek it is all about your energy shields. They go down and you go poof! On ships without a shield rating assume the screens represent armor.
I like to use the optional rule of bleed through. This just feels more Star Trek to me.
