The divisor is the square root of modifiers which have already been applied -- which means heavier/more powerful weapons will always be larger than less powerful ones, just not by as much. Basically, ROF is more valuable for seeking weapons than ACC/IMP/DMG.

And I guess that with a dual-mode weapon, one mode with seeker, one without, you work out the CRat with the longer range (for example, a MA 8 seeker weapon and a RNG 12 standard weapon would base the ORat on the seeker weapon).

Yes. The longer "range" value, which for seekers is 2xMA.

And, while I'm here, in a Multi-Weapon Mount which has Fire-Linked, would a successful to-hit roll mean all the weapons hit?

No. You make a single roll, and the number of hits (determined by the multi-weapon mount) is multiplied by the number of mounts firing.

Will there be a Bourbaki Basin for this edition, following prior precedent? I love seeing folks designs, especially the ones who create really coherent settings like MurtalianConfederacy.

The new book and tools look great, full of good ideas and inspiration.

Um, Dan... Did you accidentally kill all the old Bourbaki Basin folders? :o

Nope. Moved them to a new "Archived" section, under General.

The old Starmada stuff was getting too cluttered.

Okay, that makes it slightly more difficult to do my heavy beam cannon, then...:)

Alas, it's just barely too large to be sent to my tablet, which has a 50 MB limit. Any chance of a "lite" version of the PDF, with a little bit (or a lot) of the art turned off?

I could break the document into two separate PDFs, which should help. However, you'll still need to download it as a single ZIP file, which will be close to 50MB.

Ordered my copy of the Unity book. Glad to see Starmada looking to re-unite the player base. And good to see my favorite system continuing to get the love it deserves.

Great Job, Dan.

I have split the ZIP download into four separate files: one for the cover (front/back), one for the rules, one for the ship designs, and one with the blank ship displays and B&W countersheet.

Also, corrected a couple of typos.
