Yours truly will be there along with a couple of kiddies.

Planning a final giveaway of the con material Brigade and Xtreme sent, come one come all to the greatest starmada event of September!

Oh, yeah, I'll be in final playtesting for "Aces at Dawn" WWI air combat miniatures game as well, so it'll be a pair of cons you shouldn't miss.

Game Title: Battle of Ghel-Bedhbh

Game Description:
Ghel-Bedhbh (gell-bev) is the Grimmpule name for the river near which this battle took place and the river next to the great plains of Ghurjar. This plain was the site for the final battle of the third war and is said to be haunted with the ghosts of 50,000 elves, humans and Grimmpule. The elves renamed this river Blood-water because, they say, the water has never truly cleared. Elves are like that, however, and the humans simply ignore those sorts of tales.

Friday 7:00-11:30
-----------------
Game System: Grand Fleets

Game Title: The Battle of Coronel

Game Description:
Operating out of the Pacific, Germany’s East Asiatic Squadron, under the command of Count Maximilian von Spee, was sailing east while trying to evade British and Japanese forces. East of the Caroline Islands, nearing the coast of South America, the German squadron was intercepted by a British squadron commanded by Admiral Sir Christopher Craddock. Except for the light cruiser Glasgow, the British squadron was ageing and outdated.
What followed was an encounter in which the British suffered their first naval defeat in over a century.

I'm pretty excited for this one! Especially since Mj12 will have a showing. Of course, this is 2 days after the pocket-spliting experience that was Gen-con, but the chance to meet Dan... in like person, on my Birthday, might be too much to pass up.
