Re: Combining Multiple arcs

"Is there a more elegant way to do this?" Thanks. -Stephen I think there is a more elegant/simpler way.If you listed each mount with a different arc as a separate battery, you could just check which mounts can fire in the direction of the target and add up the dice. It would be much simple...

We played a 4300 point game today

Hello everyone, My friend & I played Starmada today in Jacksonville. We each had c4300 points of ships. Most of my friend's ships had Tls & Cts as their two weapon traits along with Acr. The game took about 1 1/2 hours. I found that the best way to deal with ships with Tls is to rush them an...

Re: Drone Damage

I am courious,
Why weren't SNE Droves to represent drones on the SFB-SNE ships. This would be much more like Star Fleet Battles. I played SFB for many years and you could Not launch all of a ships drones at one time. Making the SFB drones into Expendable Seekers is a bit strange... :?:

Re: Repairs in Klingon Armada/Alien Armada

<LOL> Think of it this way: The ship was a Klingon D7. "...we will crush our enemies & worry about repairs later..." Could have been a quote by the D7's captain. :P

Re: Repairs in Klingon Armada/Alien Armada

I would presume that the standard rules for Damage Control would apply to SFB-SNE ships.

Re: Suggested Hex Size.

I like using a map with hexes because it makes the game go much quicker. Movement is easier, and so is combat. It is simply counting hexes to determine range, etc. My friends here in Jacksonville & I can play a game with 3200 points of ships in a little over 2 hours. These games often last more ...

Re: Suggested Hex Size.

Most minis are larger than one inch and by having 2" hexes, it makes it easier when the ships/fighters/drones are close together. I have a map that has 1 1/2 ' hexes. This size works well also.
Cheers & welcome to Starmada. 8-)
