Re: Shipyard help?

Make sure that the Probe and Tractor Beam ORAT multiplier (Column BS) and the DRAT multiplier (Column BU) have a value of 1. If it is blank or a 0 then the calculation will zero out. Red below. Probe (BR)=5, (BS)=1 , (BT)=Your calculated ORAT number, (BU)=1 , (BV)=0 Tractor Beam (BR)=14, (BS)=1 , (B...

Re: Shipyard help?

Sorry, I didn't realize this was mine. It looks like the problem is in the equipment list on the ship sheet. The list needs to be in alphabetical order and the Tractor Beam and Probe are missing the ORAT/CRAT info. The latest version v9.0c of the spreadsheet is in the Starmada/Files section. You cou...

Re: Drydock pre-release

The screens and the DRat rounding--I don't have any clue as to how to fix those, I'm afraid The DRat rounding (Cell L) is actually just the displayed number. If you right click the cell, go to Format Cells and increase the decimal places displayed it shows the 2.4 for a Hull 1 Shield 1. So all you ...

Re: Drydock pre-release

There is more to it than that. Some of the cells on the Tables tab have calculations that refer back to the Ship# tabs.

Re: Drydock pre-release

I had sent mj12games a PM about this, but as he hasn't been on for a week (thanks KDLadage for pointing it out), I'll post this up. I found another couple mistakes. Two are easy fixes, one not so much (for my limited Excel-fu) Slow weapon modifier is 0.7, should be 0.6 Guided+Telescopic shows as re...

Re: Yet another B5 Thread

Those numbers seem pretty reasonable to me. The Sharlin really is a beast compared to the ships of the younger races and the EA Omega, even though called a "Destroyer" is really the EA's dreadnought class ship and should be comparable to the Octurion and the Bin'Tak.

Re: Yet another B5 Thread

The Sharlin sheet that I have lists 24 fighters and 4 flyers. So 4 flights of fighters +1 flight for the Combat Flyers. All of my B5Wars stuff comes from Babylon 5 Wars Vault The SPB and the Fusion cannon are nearly identical in B5W except that the SPB has better Fire Control ratings (SPB +4/+4/+4, ...

Re: Yet another B5 Thread

Here's what I was thinking of doing for B5. Shields are the point defense weapons that everyone uses. This allows Laser weapons to get modulating to ignore the PD. Screens for armor. Just the primary structure. Add any EM or Gravitic shields to the screens. Engines are based off the aft thruster(s) ...

Re: Ramming

I included ramming rules in Ironclad Armadas. They are for Admiralty but you might be able to mod them.
